I am Lecturer in International Relations in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh and affiliated with the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities for 2025/26.
I taught previously at Aberystwyth University, where I was Co-Director of the Department’s Centre for the International Politics of Knowledge. Prior to that I was a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London. I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Political Science at the University of Victoria in 2021, where I was a Graduate Fellow at the University of Victoria’s Centre for Global Studies.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Ottawa and an MA in Political Science from the University of Victoria with a concentration in Cultural, Social and Political Thought.
